At The Sherpa Group, our goal is to provide services and resources that offer meaningful value to our clients. While we aim to exceed expectations, we also believe in being fair and transparent about what is and isn’t refundable. (No smoke, mirrors, or legal acrobatics here.)This policy applies to all services offered under our brands, including coaching, courses, and business services.
1. Coaching Services
We understand that life happens. For 1:1 coaching sessions:
Free Discovery Sessions – These are complimentary and do not qualify for refunds because they’re free (and frankly, priceless).
Scheduled Coaching Sessions
You may reschedule up to 24 hours in advance without penalty.
Sessions canceled less than 24 hours in advance may be forfeited and are non-refundable.
If you have a multi-session package and wish to discontinue coaching, unused sessions may be refunded at our discretion, minus any completed sessions and applicable administrative fees.
We do not offer refunds for completed coaching sessions.
2. Digital Courses
Our courses are designed to provide immediate value, and most include instant access to downloadable or streaming content. Because of this:
Refunds are generally not offered once a course has been accessed or downloaded.
If you are unhappy with a course and have not yet accessed or completed the majority of the material, you may request a refund within 7 days of purchase.
Free courses are not eligible for refunds (they’re already a great deal).
If technical issues prevent access to course materials, we’ll make every effort to resolve the problem or issue a full refund.
3. Digital Services & Website Development
Because web development and support work is custom and labor-intensive:
Deposits for digital services (including custom website projects) are non-refundable.
Once work has begun, milestone-based payments are considered earned and non-refundable.
For ongoing maintenance subscriptions, you may cancel at any time, but partial refunds will not be issued for unused time within a billing cycle.
If something doesn’t meet your expectations, we encourage you to reach out. We’ll review the situation thoughtfully and may offer a partial refund or credit at our discretion. Regardless of the outcome, you can count on us to act with integrity and do what’s fair—balancing your experience with what’s reasonable and responsible on our end. (In other words, we won’t ghost you, and we won’t gaslight you. Just good-faith problem-solving.)
4. Chargebacks & Disputes
If a payment dispute or chargeback is initiated without contacting us first, your account may be suspended and access to services revoked until the issue is resolved. (Pro tip: talking to humans is usually faster—and friendlier—than fighting a robot at your bank.)
We believe in doing right by our clients—and we ask the same in return. We’re here to help, and if something isn’t working for you, we’d much rather hear from you directly than see you walk away frustrated.
Our promise: no stonewalling, no canned excuses. Just real conversations, grounded in mutual respect.
